No Future Time Functionality
It isn’t possible to enter future time for employees via the Timesheet Editor. Anytime you attempt to do this a pop-up message will appear that states “You’re not allowed to create timesheets in the future”. While it’s understandable to try and diminish the likelihood of mistakenly billing for future time, such a feature would be extremely useful for managers who need to create work schedules for the coming weeks.
Mobile App Bugs
Many users regularly report to having issues with the mobile app. A lot of the problems are related to the app failing to correctly clock employees in. This is incredibly concerning considering the fact that effortless and accurate time tracking is one of the platform’s main selling points.

Admin View Issues

GPS Tracking Doesn’t Note Arrival Time
An employee’s arrival time is not automatically registered on the platform. Users are still required to log in to TSheets before their time can be tracked, which doesn’t solve the problem of people forgetting to log in.

TSheets doesn’t come with batch editing functionality for employee time entries. Because each entry is considered a ‘timesheet’ in and of itself, whenever a staff member inputs the incorrect job you have to go to each entry and open it to make edits and resolve the issues.
The Bottom Line
TSheets doesn’t come equipped with the same level of project management elements as other time tracking solutions, but still comes in at a higher price point. The software could also do with improvements to areas such as future time and reports in addition to concerning issues with the mobile application. However, the platform is generally easy to use, has good customer support and integrates with numerous other tools. For its ability to track time, productivity and other billable components, TSheets is a handy tool.
